John's Toe :(

Marty and I went out of town June 1.  Kristen stayed with the kids.  We told her John had a "boo boo" on his toe and to please put Neosporin and a bandaid on it before putting him to bed.  Kristen sent this photo to me after she bathed him and took care of him.  Best big sister ever!

Thursday John had an appointment with his pediatrician.  I showed her the wound on his toe.  She said it looked okay and was dry so just keep an eye on it.  If it wouldn't heal she would refer him to a wound specialist.

Monday the wound wasn't looking any better...much worse.... so I called as soon as the pediatrician's office opened.  

Tuesday we waited all day for a call from the Wound Care Center

Today.  Wound center just called.  They can't see him because he is still a baby.  Off to the ER!!
